My New Home: San Francisco

After 15 months traveling through 14 countries, I have now moved to SF!

I often get asked “what’s it like to be back?”. And honestly, it doesn’t feel THAT much different. Because at its heart, so much of my travels has been about cultivating a way of being. And this way of being is now my driving force in everything I do. At the core of this way of being is a dance between two things:

1. Doing what feels right. Keyword: feels! And letting go of the need for the perfect, logical explanation in doing something. Some may also call this following intuition or your gut. It may be a loud strong, knowing. It may be a soft, subtle whisper. Go inwards and just feel. The body has a helluva lot more intelligence than our brains. The hard part is listening.

2. Taking the action most aligned with my top values. The action honoring what is most meaningful and important for me at that time. And feeling accomplishment and peace solely from making the highest resonant decision. Not from the outcome. Any additional positive outcome from the decision becomes icing on the cake, but not the cake itself.

Following the feels. Making values-aligned decisions. Two sides of the same coin. A dance between the head and the heart. Top it off with some music that lets this dance really flow: trust. Trust in myself. Trust that I am enough as I am today. Trust that the universe is always conspiring in our favor. Trust there’s something to be learned in all actions, everything, and everyone.

So here I am now. Living in SF. Launching my own coaching practice (more to come there!). Whether I’ll like the city and coaching - no friggin clue! Feels right now, so giving it a fair shot. Trusting that time will tell. The journey on this beautiful thing we call life continues. :)
